New PROS Center
The Plastic, Reconstructive and Orthopedic Surgery Center (PROS) at St. Mary’s Medical Center offers a leading-edge approach to treating complex extremity trauma due to repetitive injuries, accidents or disease. Combining the expertise of plastic and orthopedic surgeons ensures the most effective treatment plans for patients.
Patients who sustain complex-extremity trauma from major accidents, repetitive injuries or disease often require the services of both orthopedic and plastic surgeons. At the PROS Center, surgeons work together from the beginning to develop an individualized treatment plan for each patient that takes into account all aspects of the injury.
Special Features:
Our team of orthopedic and plastic surgeons specializes in the treatment of traumatic injuries and post-traumatic complications. Working collaboratively, surgeons are able to perform even the most complex reconstructive procedures more efficiently, improving outcomes. With fewer surgeries and shorter recoveries, patients can move forward with their rehabilitation efforts and their lives.
