Education: Dr. Huang received her medical degree from the University of California Davis Medical School. She completed her internship in internal medicine and her radiation oncology residency training at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Special Interests: Her special interests are in treating ocular melanomas, head and neck cancers, lymphomas, sarcomas, lung, breast, gastrointestinal and rectal cancers, prostate and gynecological malignancies.
Involvement: Dr. Huang has been on the St. Mary’s medical staff for 30 years and was Medical Director of the Radiation Oncology Department beginning in 1991. She also served as the Associate Director of the St. Mary’s Radiation Oncology Residency Training Program.

Dr. Weber received his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of California Davis and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in La Jolla, Calif.
Special Interests:
His special interests include melanoma research and general oncology. Dr. Weber sees patients with all types of cancers.
Involvement:
In addition to being St. Mary’s Medical Director of Oncology Services, Dr. Weber is the Chairman of the St. Mary’s Cancer Committee and is the Associate Director of the Northern California Melanoma Center located at St. Mary’s

Education:
Dr. Lewis received her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville and she completed her general surgery residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center where she served as chief resident. She also completed a fellowship in breast conservation surgery at the National Tumor Institute in Milan.
Special Interests:
She specializes in sentinel lymph node biopsy, surgery for the treatment of all stages of breast cancer including wire localization surgery, lumpectomy/partial mastectomy, skin-sparing and nipple sparing mastectomy, oncoplastic surgery, ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration and surgical removal of non-cancerous breast lumps

Dr. Groeger received his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Neb. He completed his general surgery residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco where he served as chief surgical resident. He then also completed a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Iowa. Special Interests: His special interests include: venous and arterial diseases to include open and endovascular procedures

Dr. Groeger has been on St. Mary’s Medical Staff for the past 30 years. He has been very active, serving on the Medical Executive Committee for nearly 20 years and he is the current Chair of the Surgical Services Committee.

Northern California Melanoma Center
Board Certified: American Board of Internal Medicine; American Board of Allergy and Immunology
Education: Dr. Lynn E. Spitler received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed her residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in immunology. She then joined the faculty at the University of California Medical Center (UCSF) where with three other physicians she founded the UCSF Melanoma Clinic in 1969. In 1978, she founded the Melanoma Clinic at Children's Hospital of San Francisco, the forerunner of the current NCMC.
Special Interests: Dr. Spitler's particular interest is in therapies aimed at preventing recurrence of melanoma in patients who have been rendered clinically tumor free by surgery or other therapeutic modalities but have high risk for recurrence.

Education:
Dr. Krueger received his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco where afterwards he also completed an orthopaedic residency. He then completed an orthopaedic tumor fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Krueger returned to San Francisco and now he is a clinical instructor with the Orthopaedic Residency Program at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco.
Special Interests:
His interests are in orthopedic surgery, total joint replacement surgery, and osteosarcoma (tumor) removals.

Education:
Dr. Lagios is a San Francisco native and received his medical degree from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). He completed his internship in pathology at the University of California Los Angeles and he returned to UCSF to complete his pathology residency.
Special Interests:
He is nationally recognized for his expertise in breast pathology and on duct carcinoma in situ. Dr. Lagios has written or co-authored much of the pertinent literature in this area over the last twenty years. He is an editor for Seminars in Breast Disease, and the Breast Journal, co-editor for Breast Diseases, a Yearbook Quarterly and reviews for cancer, breast cancer research treatment, American Journal of Surgical Oncology, Human Pathology and others. He was president of the American Society for Breast Disease from 1998 to 1999 and was on their board of directors from 2000 to 2004.
Involvement:
Dr. Lagios is part of the St. Mary’s Breast Panel, a weekly panel comprised of a team of multi-disciplinary physicians who review breast cancer cases.

Dr. Lee received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Chicago and then completed a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the Buncke Clinic, San Francisco.
Special Interests:
His special interests include: complex upper/ lower extremity reconstruction, breast reconstruction using the DIEP and perforator flaps, varicose vein laser treatment, peripheral nerve surgery and microsurgery, wound care and soft tissue reconstruction.

Board Certified: American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine (Scripps Medical Education Program)
Education: Dr. Marlin received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. and additional training in psychiatry at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C. She worked for 13 years at the Preventive Medicine Research Institute in Sausalito in collaboration with the University of California San Francisco, University of California Los Angeles and Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center studying the effect of comprehensive lifestyle change on heart disease, diabetes and prostate cancer.
Special Interests: She specializes in working with patient with cancer and other degenerative diseases to provide expertise in lifestyle modification to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. She has expertise in nutrition and exercise counseling, stress management training and in creating psychosocial support for maximum health and disease management.
Involvement: Dr. Marlin is currently an Associate Director of the Northern California Melanoma Center at St. Mary’s and provides integrative medicine consultation to St. Mary’s cancer patients. She is a member of the Society for Integrative Oncology.

Dr. Murray received his medical degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He completed his internship at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco and then a surgical residency at St. Louis University Group of Hospitals in St. Louis.

Involvement:
Dr. Murray has been a very active member of St. Mary’s Medical Center’s Medical Staff for more than 20 years. He served two terms as President of the Medical Staff, served on the Board of Directors, served as Director of Physician Recruitment, was Associate Director of the Surgical Residency program and played a vital role in hospital-wide quality initiatives.
