Scott L. Hansen, MD
American Board of Plastic Surgery
Education: Dr. Hansen graduated from George Mason Univ. and received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his residency at UCSF, where he also completed a research fellowship. In addition, he completed a hand and microsurgery fellowship at UCLA Medical Center

Special Interests: Hand and microvascular surgery, reconstructive plastic surgery, wound healing, lower extremity reconstruction and general plastic/cosmetic surgery



Charles K. Lee, MD, FACS
American Board of Plastic Surgery
Education: Dr. Lee received his bachelor’s and medical degrees from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the Univ. of Chicago and then completed a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the Buncke Clinic, San Francisco.
Affiliation: SMMC Director of Microsurgery and Wound Care and UCSF
Special Interests: Complex Upper/ Lower extremity Reconstruction, Breast Reconstruction using the DIEP and Perforator Flaps, Varicose Vein Laser Treatment, Peripheral Nerve Surgery & Microsurgery, Wound Care & Soft Tissue Reconstruction.

Robert E. Murray, MD, MPA, FACS
American College of Surgeons
Education: Dr. Murray received his medical degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He completed his internship at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco and then a surgical residency at St. Louis University Group of Hospitals in St. Louis.
Special Interests: General, vascular and thoracic surgery
Involvement: Dr. Murray has been a very active member of St. Mary’s Medical Center’s Medical Staff for more than 20 years. He served two terms as President of the Medical Staff, served on the Board of Directors, served as Director of Physician Recruitment, was Associate Director of the Surgical Residency program and played a vital role in hospital-wide quality initiatives.

Alexander M. Reyzelman, DPM, FACFAS
American Board of Podiatric Surgery, Fellow of American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons
Education: Dr. Reyzelman received his medical degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his podiatry residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Affiliation: SMMC, CPMC, Eden Hospital
Special Interests: Limb Salvage, Chronic Non-healing Wounds of the Lower Extremity, Lower Extremity Complications of Diabetes and Prevention of Amputation
Teaching Involvement: Dr. Reyzelman is an Associate Professor and the Chair of the Department of Medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University.

Yolanda Vea, MD
American Board of General Surgery
Education: Dr. Vea received her medical degree from UC Davis School of Medicine. She completed her internship and a general surgery residency at UCSF - East Bay in Oakland, where she was also chief resident. Dr. Vea the completed a vascular surgery fellowship at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, N. J.
Affiliation: SMMC, Seton Medical Center in Daly City and Chinese Hospital
Special Interests: Open Vascular Surgery, Arterial and Venous Disorders, Minimally Invasive Endovascular Surgery and Endovenous Radiofrequency of Varicose Veins

David M. Young, MD, FACS
American Board of Plastic Surgery
Education: Dr. Young received his medical degree from Yale School of Medicine and completed a fellowship in plastic surgery at UCSF.
Affiliation: SMMC, UCSF and SFGH
Special Interests: Wound Healing, Burns, Infections, Hand Surgery and Microsurgery
