At St. Mary’s we have a dedicated team of expert physicians, researchers, and oncology nurses to answer your every question and to be by your side during the cancer treatment process.
We pride ourselves on expediting patient treatments and providing second opinions to our patients as well. We understand you and your family have many questions, and we try very hard to give you the advice and the answers you need. No one wants to wait for answers or wait to begin treatment after receiving a cancer diagnosis. The good news is that there are many new treatments to fight breast cancer, and according to the National Cancer Institute, the overall 5-year relative survival rate is 89 percent. St. Mary’s invests much time and energy into staying current with all of the latest breast cancer treatment options. Additionally, our physicians understand the effects of various drugs and are experienced in not only treating the cancer itself, but the many side-effects that also come along with treatment.
