Students can be seen at the USF Clinic without health insurance, but if additional diagnostic tests or prescriptions are recommended, the student or their insurance will be responsible for these costs. In today's increasingly complex health care environment, it is imperative to be familiar with the specific coverage of your health insurance. Although the staff can off you assistance, it is ultimately the student's responsibility to determine insurance coverage for the diagnostic tests ordered, hospitalization, etc.
Students on the USF Student Insurance need to be evaluated at the USF Student Health Clinic before a referral to a specialist can be made.
