Our advanced imaging tests support the entire spectrum of primary and specialty care services and include:
St. Mary's newly upgraded, high-field MRI system provides high-resolution imaging quality to conduct advanced stroke imaging, improved breast imaging, contrast-enhanced angiography, plus advanced abdominal and gynecologic imaging (including uterine fibroid evaluation).
We offer the latest, low-radiation mammography units as well as steriotactic needle biopsy, an important new breast-imaging test. In 2003, we added CAD for mammography and improved ultrasound capabilities with two state-of-the-art units. In 2004, St. Mary's will complete renovations to two basic radiology rooms and upgrade equipment to digital technology.
