Central to its mission, St. Mary's Medical
Center provides health care and advocacy for the poor through the
Sr. Mary Philippa Health Center. This clinic offers a coordinated
program of comprehensive primary and specialty health services free
of charge or at a reduced rate to thousands of uninsured and
underserved members of the San Francisco community.
The Center serves a socially and ethnically
diverse population of patients, and these patients are served by
attending physicians, residents, fellows, nurses and other
staff.

patients to ensure that advice, referrals, and care are always
