Chaplaincy Services is committed to providing
spiritual support to patients, families, loved ones and
staff. We are an interfaith team of chaplains available for
persons of all faith backgrounds and those who follow no
traditional faith. Members of our team seek to visit each new
patient, providing spiritual care as requested or needed.
Chaplaincy services offers:

A chapel is located on the 6th floor of the medical
professional building at 2250 Hayes. Mass is celebrated
at noon Monday through Friday, and is televised in
patient rooms in Channel 13. All are welcome. On Sunday,
mass is televised within the hospital at noon on Channel 13

Copies of scripture and holy writings from various faith
traditions

Religious services and rituals including prayer, communion
and anointing

Assistance with referrals to local clergy and faith
commentates

Help in clarifying religious and/or ethical questions
-
Accompaniment of a dying patient, their family and loved
ones
-
Visitation with patients and families during
hospitalization
-
Information on advance directives for health care, including
appropriate paperwork
Hours
You may request a chaplaincy
visit by calling the Hospital Operator and ask that a chaplain be
paged, or by asking your nurse.
Chaplains are available 24 hours a day,
seven days a week.
