E-mail a Patient

What is "Get Well E-mail"?
Get Well e-mail is designed to provide friends and family members convenient access to patients at St. Mary's, by using e-mail to send get well messages.

Where do I send my e-mail?
If you would like to send a "Get Well E-mail" to a loved one or friend who is a patient at St. Mary's, please address your e-mail to smmcadmin@chw.edu.

When are e-mails delivered?
Get Well E-mails are delivered throughout the day between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.  E-mail received over the weekend will be delivered the following Monday morning. Delivery of e-mail may be delayed during holidays. E-mail received after the intended recipient has been discharged will not be delivered.

Can the patient I'm sending this to send a response by e-mail?
Get Well E-mail is set up only to receive patient e-mail and cannot send outgoing replies.

Are the e-mail messages I send confidential?
All messages received are handled confidentially. Upon receipt, your mail will be printed, sealed and delivered directly to the patient's room.

The Get Well E-mail program is designed for get well wishes only. Any other types of communication or messages (such as e-mail conducting personal business, containing questionable content or business/vendor solicitations) will not be delivered.
